Navigating to a room

The Rooms list lets you navigate through the room tree to the room you want to manage. When you select a room in the list, the list will update to display the rooms inside that room, and the room you selected is placed above the list, showing the path back to the parent rooms.

After you make changes to the room settings, refresh the cache to make the modifications available to patrons.

To navigate to a room

Choose Rooms from the navigation pane.

Select the search profile in which you want to manage the room tree.

Choose Expand (

) next to the room name in the list to view its child rooms.

Note: The Home Room for each profile will appear alone in the list because no other rooms can be on the same level as the Home Room.

Select a room listed in the bar above the list to return to the contents of that room (that is, to see the list of rooms within that room).

Note: The rooms in the bar above the list represent the path to the currently selected room. Each room is a link the collapses the tree back to where you can configure the settings for that room. In other words, choosing the room displays that room and its siblings.

To manage the rooms in a different profile, choose Change Profile.
